Screenplay Synopsis
Saddle Valley is being plagued by burglaries and the age-old deterrent—a dog—is no longer a threat. In fact, the “Dog Wrangler” is targeting homes with dogs!
In the Martin household, during a family crisis, Grandpa Martin and Granny Pat are called on to be in charge of the grandkids. A former Navy man and New York City police detective, Grandpa Martin is the last person you would think of to watch the kids.
In a matter of hours upon his arrival, he has alienated himself from practically all the kids, especially Matthew. But when the Martin family’s prized heirloom—a vintage Lewis & Clark compass—is stolen and their dog knocked out, it’s up to Grandpa Martin and his grandson Matt to solve the Canine Capers.
With a little bit of wisdom and a lot of love, Grandpa Martin manages to surprise everyone.
