Screenplay Synopsis
The screenplay tells the story of Henry Whipple, a 24-year-old accountant, who loves basketball, but has not been permitted to play since he was 10-years-old due to a heart ailment.
When challenged to a game of one-on-one basketball by his new girlfriend, Henry foolishly concedes and has a heart attack. He gets a heart transplant—the heart he receives was formerly the property of Sky Robbins – the NBA’s most valuable player.
Henry recovers from surgery and soon discovers that he has amazing basketball talent. Henry’s new found fame, fortune and self-image ultimately alienate him from the kids he coached and the woman he loves, making him choose between his dream and life itself…
